Lakshmi Kubera Homam

Śrī Lakṣhmi, the consort of MahāViṣṇu, is the Universal Mother and Dēvata of prosperity, wealth, abundance and well-being. Kubēra is the lord of the North and bestows his devotees with immense riches. Lakṣhmi and Kubēra are worshipped together in the Lakṣhmi Kubēra Hōmam for riches and prosperity.
Śrī Lakṣhmi is revered as Kamalālaye (has her abode in lotus flowers) and is fond of lotus flowers.
As a part of our summer schedule of Hōmams, KSHT organized a Lakṣhmi Kubēra Hōmam for the prosperity and well being of devotees and for Viśva Kalyāṇaṁ on Saturday the 13th September 2025. This Hōmam will be conducted with *108 lotus flower* Āhutis as well as other blessed items dear to Lakshmi ji

The schedule is as follows:

10:00 AM                    Lakshmi Kubera followed by Lakshmi Kubera Archana

12:00 PM                    Hanuman Puja / Archana

12:30 PM                    Prasadam/Preeti Bhoj (lunch) will be served

NOTE:  The regular weekly Navagraha puja is cancelled.

Please note sponsorship opportunities for these programs are as follows.  Please indicate which selection(s) you are sponsoring in the memo field of your funds transfer:

1. All Pujas – Lakshmi Kubera Homam, Lakshmi Kubera Archana, and Hanuman Puja  – $51 / family

2. Lakshmi Kubera Homam and Archana – $31 / family

3. Hanuman Puja / Archana – $21 / family

5. Annadana / Preeti Bhoj – $101

Sponsorship:

  • You may sponsor the puja by making an Interac e-transfer to dycerin@gmail.com  You may also use your credit card/PayPal by clicking here 
  • Sponsorship amount for this program is as noted above.  If you are unable to attend in-person, the puja may be sponsored and the puja will be performed in your family’s names in absentia.
  • Please provide the names of the sponsor and spouse and gotra (if known) in the memo/notes field of the donation (if not previously provided).  When performing the sankalpa, the priest will recite the name of the sponsor and their spouse, and also chant “and all family members” in Sanskrit to include blessings for all your family members.  Sponsorships received two hours or more before the program will be included in the sankalpa.  Please provide your mailing address for a tax receipt at year end  (receipts will be issued for cumulative annual donations totaling $100 and over).  Thank you for your on-going support.
