Subramanya and Rudra Homams

Our Shastras proclaim that Homam is the most effective way in propitiating the Devatā and in obtaining benefits. Also participating in Homam is very satisfying personally.

Kārya Siddhi Hanumān Temple (KSHT) has embarked on a full schedule of Homams over this summer for the benefit of the members of the community and Vishwa Kalyānam.

On Saturday July 19, 2025, KSHT is conducting Subrahmanya and Rudra Homams at the temple.

Śrī Subrahmanya, the powerful son of Śiva and the leader of armies of Dēvās, bestows progeny, removes all kinds of Kuja and Kāla Sarpa Doṣas, protects from enemies, helps in eliminating indebtedness, as well gives prosperity to his devotees.

Śrī Sāmba Śiva in the form of Rudra rejuvenates by destroying ill-health, provides inner peace, removes Graha Doshas and gives a sense of achievement as well as material progress and protection.

We encourage all devotees to benefit by actively participating in the Subrahmanya and Rudra Homams. The schedule is as follows:

9:30 AM                    Subramanya Homam followed by Rudra Homam

12:00 PM                    Hanuman Puja / Archana

12:30 PM                    Prasadam/Preeti Bhoj (lunch) will be served

NOTE:  The regular weekly Navagraha puja is cancelled.

2. Subramanya Homam  – $31 / family

3. Rudra Homam  – $31 / family

4. Hanuman Puja / Archana – $21 / family

5. Annadana / Preeti Bhoj – $101

• You may sponsor the puja by making an Interac e-transfer to dycerin@gmail.com  You may also use your credit card/PayPal by clicking here 
• Sponsorship amount for this program is as noted above.  If you are unable to attend in-person, the puja may be sponsored and the puja will be performed in your family’s names in absentia.
• Please provide the names of the sponsor and spouse and gotra (if known) in the memo/notes field of the donation (if not previously provided).  When performing the sankalpa, the priest will recite the name of the sponsor and their spouse, and also chant “and all family members” in Sanskrit to include blessings for all your family members.  Sponsorships received two hours or more before the program will be included in the sankalpa.  Please provide your mailing address for a tax receipt at year end  (receipts will be issued for cumulative annual donations totaling $100 and over).  Thank you for your on-going support.
